Issarlès Lake

In the Upper Ardèche, Issarlès lake is a 97-hectare natural lake located at an altitude of 1,000 meter in the crater of an old volcano. You can swim in the lake, taking advantage of its exceptional pure water at a pleasant temperature (life guard on duty during the summer). It is also possible to practise water activities such as canoing, pedal boating and windsurfing. You can also go on the hiking trail around the lake.
